Both Pricing Options Include:

Resident Experience - Seniors are looking for experiences in their retirement and for many the idea of leaving a legacy in the form of sharing their story in writing, is high up on their bucket list. We take care of all the logistics of offering this opportunity to your residents in a unique and individual way so that each resident will share their personal story in their own voice. It also builds community amongst the residents as they share their stories with each other through group discussion and their writing.

Branding - We understand that branding your residences is important to you and offer a page(s) in the book to advertise your company. Also your logo will be included on front or back cover of each book, and you have the option of having someone in your company write the forward.

Marketing - Your social media links will be included on the advertising page in the book, a representative from your company will be interviewed on our podcast prior to the book launch, and we are willing to work with you in our social media posting advertising of the book launch.

Full Publishing Package Including - Writing support through our interview or question system, editing, (3 edits per author) proofreading, typeset, cover design, printing, upload for International book stores, book launch party, podcast interview per author (if desired), podcast interview for a corporate representative, initial marketing support, administrative support throughout.

All Inclusive
Price Per Author Based on 10 to 15 authors - $1295.00 CAD + tax
With the All Inclusive structure, we take care of everything for you. We invoice the authors, collect the funds, collect the writing, and produce the finished book. The only thing we need from you is access to your residents through email marketing, posters in house, and if applicable, information on your website or newsletters. You are still free to offer a subsidy rebate to your authors directly through grants or corporate sponsorship.

Wholesale Pricing
Per book based on up to 15 authors - $13995.00 CAD + tax
With the wholesale structure, we invoice you directly and you are free to charge your residents the price that works for you. You collect the funds from the authors, we take care of everything else. You are free to either mark up the MSRP of $1295/pp or offer a subsidy through grants or corporate sponsorship.

Our System Work Flow
Step 1 - Marketing: This is done through email to your residents, posters in the residency's, your website, newsletters and live/video presentations. (depending on your location) We can also provide a recorded presentation that you can include a link to in your newsletter and website.
Step 2 - Authors: Those residents who are interested in being part of the book will fill in an application form. Depending on the number of applicants we then choose 10 to 15 to be part of the first book (choosing a variety of topics etc) and if enough people apply, we will then roll them into a 2nd book. Once chosen, they will then sign a contract outlining exactly what is included etc. and make their payment either through a payment plan or a one time full payment.
Step 3 - Stories: Daisychain will work directly with each author to find the best way to extract their story. This can be done through a live or zoom interview, a written series of questions, or allowing the author to just write it themselves. Our team will provide 3 rounds of editing with each author to bring their story to a publishable product. We then compile all stories into a collaborative book.
Step 3 - Publishing: Our team will professionally publish the book including typeset, cover design (in collaboration with you and/or the group of authors) and printing, as well as uploading the book to be available on Amazon and in book stores internationally. For an added cost we can also make it available as an e-book that is readable on all e-platforms.
Step 4 - Celebration: A book launch party is included in the price and can be done live or via zoom (depending on your location). We will reach out to your local media through a press release, and authors can invite family and friends to join them to celebrate the publication of their book. Each author receives 5 free copies of the book and can order more at wholesale rates.
